The split butterfly valve is mainly composed of body, stem,disc, sealing ring and transmission device.

The valve body is divided into two parts, the upper and lower flanges are connected, the valve disc is installed between the valve body, and the valve stem is connected to the valve plate and the manual or      electric operating device through a transmission device.

The sealing ring is usually made of silicone or fluororubber to ensure the sealing performance of the valve. The split butterfly valve controls the medium flow by rotating between the valve bodies.

The most prominent advantage of the split butterfly valve is that it is easy to maintain and replace.

Because it is composed of valve body and valve disc, the valve body or valve disc can be maintained in advance without replacing the entire valve, which greatly reduces the replacement cost and cycle.
