Grooved Y-type strainer adopts grooved clamp connection, designed for pipeline coarse filtration. It is installed upstream of pumps, valves, flow meters and heat exchangers to remove rust, welding slag, sediment and solid debris, protecting downstream pipeline equipment.Compared with flanged & threaded strainers, grooved connection requires no welding or bolted flange connection, featuring fast installation and convenient maintenance. Ductile iron body with internal & external epoxy coating for corrosion resistance, detachable 304 stainless steel filter screen for easy cleaning. Optional blowdown plug for online dirt discharge.Widely used in fire sprinkler system, central air conditioning chilled water, water supply & industrial circulating water pipeline.
