Bronze Dual Plate Check Valve Price:¥ Id:H76H Place of origin:China

The hard-sealed aluminum bronze wafer-style check valve is a spring-loaded, dual-plate automatic check valve. Both the valve body and discs are cast from aluminum bronze, featuring a metal-to-metal hard seal. It utilizes a wafer-style installation, clamping directly between two pipe flanges without the need for additional flanges. Forward medium pressure pushes the two discs open; when flow stops or reverses, the combination of spring force and backpressure rapidly closes the discs to block backflow, requiring no external power source. Key Application Areas: High-temperature environments, seawater containing sand, chloride-rich environments, oils, and gases. The hard-seal design eliminates rubber components, allowing for high-temperature resistance and avoiding issues like rubber aging or failure—distinguishing it from soft-sealed (rubber-seated) models.

Product Introduction:

The hard-sealed aluminum bronze wafer-style check valve is a spring-loaded, dual-plate automatic check valve.

Both the valve body and discs are cast from aluminum bronze, featuring a metal-to-metal hard seal.

It utilizes a wafer-style installation, clamping directly between two pipe flanges without the need for additional flanges.

Forward medium pressure pushes the two discs open; when flow stops or reverses, the combination of spring force and backpressure rapidly closes the discs to block backflow,

requiring no external power source.

Key Application Areas: High-temperature environments, seawater containing sand, chloride-rich environments, oils, and gases.

The hard-seal design eliminates rubber components, allowing for high-temperature resistance and avoiding issues like rubber aging or failure—distinguishing it from soft-sealed (rubber-seated) models.

Core Advantages:

1. Aluminum Bronze Material Advantages:

Forms a dense protective aluminum oxide film on the surface; resistant to seawater, chloride pitting, and crevice corrosion;

offers superior resistance to erosion and cavitation compared to standard 316L stainless steel in seawater;

withstands sediment erosion and resists rusting or seizing—a classic material choice for marine and offshore engineering.

2. Metal Hard-Seal Design:

No rubber sealing rings; offers higher temperature resistance and compatibility with high-temperature media, oils, and hydrocarbons.

Suitable for media containing solid particles; eliminates problems associated with rubber aging, swelling, or damage, resulting in a longer service life.

3. Spring-Assisted Dual-Plate Structure:

Short disc travel and rapid closing speed effectively reduce water hammer impact;

suitable for both horizontal and vertical pipeline installations;

sensitive operation allows for opening even at low flow rates.

4. Wafer-Style Installation:

Compact and lightweight, saving pipeline installation space;

lower procurement and installation costs compared to flanged check valves, with significant cost-saving advantages for large-diameter applications.

5. Material Compatibility:

Both the valve body and discs are made of aluminum bronze, significantly reducing the risk of galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals—a critical advantage for seawater piping systems.

Construction:

Valve Body: Cast Aluminum Bronze C95400 / C95800 (QA19-4).

Disc (Dual-plate): Aluminum Bronze; sealing surfaces hard-faced (metal-to-metal hard seal).

Hinge Pin: Monel / Hastelloy (prevents galvanic corrosion with aluminum bronze).

Return Spring: Inconel X750 / Monel; seawater corrosion-resistant and fatigue-resistant.

Valve Seat: Integral metal sealing surface machined on the valve body (hard seal design).

Features: Thin and compact profile, short face-to-face dimension, lightweight; full-bore design, low flow resistance.

Key Technical Parameters:

Model: H76H (Hard seal; "H" denotes metal hard seal).

Nominal Size: DN50 – DN800.

Pressure Rating: PN10 / PN16 / PN25; ASME Class 150 / Class 300.

Temperature Range: -20°C – 200°C (hard seal design avoids rubber-related limitations).

Body Material: C95400 / C95800 Aluminum Bronze (ASTM B148).

Sealing Type: Metal-to-metal hard seal.

Design Standards: API 594, GB/T12224, CB marine series standards.

Applicable Media: Seawater, brine, fresh water, oil products, compressed air, low-pressure steam, fluids containing trace amounts of silt/sediment.

Installation: Horizontal or vertical (upward flow).

Typical Applications:

Marine: Seawater cooling lines, ballast water systems, bilge water systems (CCS marine certification available).

Offshore Engineering: Offshore platforms, seawater desalination, coastal power plant circulating water systems.

Coastal Chemical Industry: Chloride-ion-containing process pipelines (including salt-based chemical processing).

Offshore Oil & Gas: Fluid pipelines for port equipment.
