Applicable media and temperature ranges of valves of different materials
Valves of different materials are suitable for different media and temperature ranges. For example:
Bronze: Applicable to steam, water, oil, air and natural gas transmission pipelines, with an operating temperature of about 280℃.
Iron: Applicable to mixed acid media of concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrocarbons, with an operating temperature of -30~300℃.
Chromium-nickel stainless steel: Applicable to oxidizing acids such as nitric acid, with a maximum operating temperature of ≤200℃.
Chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel: Applicable to reducing acids such as acetic acid, with a maximum operating temperature of ≤200℃.
Carbon steel: Applicable to non-corrosive substances such as water, steam, air and oil products, with an operating temperature of -29~425℃.
High temperature copper: Applicable to steam and petroleum products, with an operating temperature of ≤570℃.
Low temperature steel: Applicable to media such as liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen, with an operating temperature of ≥-196℃.
