Product Introduction:
The rubber ball-type lift-check valve is officially known as the spherical lift-check valve.
The mainstream models in the industry are HQ41X (lift-swinging spherical valve disc) and HQ45X (low-resistance spherical check valve).
It is a composite type check valve combining the lift structure with the spherical valve disc.
Compared with traditional flat plate flap lift valves and floating spherical check valves:
The valve disc has a spherical shape and is hinged to swing for opening and closing through a pin.
It combines the large flow advantage of the lift valve with the self-centering sealing of the spherical valve disc and the advantage of slow closing to eliminate water hammer. It is commonly known as the spherical flap check valve or the low-resistance spherical check valve. It is mostly used in pump outlet, sewage, and circulating water to prevent backflow.
Advantages:
1.Spherical self-centering seal, no leakage at low pressure:
The traditional flat plate rotary valve is prone to skew and internal leakage at low pressure. In contrast, the spherical valve disc swings and closes, and the spherical surface automatically aligns with the valve seat, ensuring superior pressure retention and sealing performance at low pressure compared to the standard H44X rotary valve.
2.Slow-closing noise reduction, water hammer mitigation (HQ45X)
The weight distribution of the spherical valve disc is uniform, resulting in low noise during closure. The slow-closing model directly fits the outlet of centrifugal pumps and does not require additional installation of water hammer absorbers.
3.Stronger ability to handle impurities
The spherical arc surface has no dead corners, making it less likely for sediment, sludge, or pipe weld slag to accumulate and jam. Sewage and rainwater pumping stations are less likely to be blocked and fail.
4.Flow resistance is close to that of standard rotary valves
The entire opening valve disc is fully opened, resulting in a flow resistance much lower than that of lift-type check valves and floating spherical check valves. This is conducive to energy conservation in long-distance water transportation.
5.Minimal maintenance
The top valve cover can be removed, and the entire rubber-covered ball can be directly replaced without the need for grinding the sealing surface. The maintenance component cost is low.
6.Good installation compatibility
Horizontal pipes (with the pin axis oriented upwards being the best), vertical pipes (with the medium entering from below and exiting from above), and inclined pipes can all be installed. Unlike the floating spherical check valve, which can only be installed vertically.

Nominal pressure: PN10, PN16 (mainstream for low-pressure water supply and drainage, ball steel cast iron can reach PN25)

HT200 gray cast iron: for civilian water supply and drainage, low-cost projects
QT450 ductile iron: for pumping stations, anti-vibration, anti-freezing, main material in engineering
CF8 304 stainless steel: for seawater, mild corrosion chemical pipelines
Sealing material & temperature:
EPDM rubber-coated sphere: -20℃ to 80℃, short-term 120℃, zero leakage for clean water and sewage;
Connection method: flange, RF face flange.
