Product Introduction:

The cast iron swing-type check valve is a classic single-direction valve for water supply and drainage, as well as municipal pipelines. 

The valve body is mainly made of gray cast iron HT200 and ductile iron QT450. It achieves forward flow by flipping the valve disc and automatically closes to prevent backflow of water.

It features high cost-effectiveness, large diameter, and good slag-passing performance. 

It is divided into three types: rubber soft-sealed H44X (mainstream), copper-sealed H44T, and cast iron hard-sealed H44H. 

Its core function is to prevent the backflow of the medium when the water pump stops, protecting the pump body and the pipeline network.


Advantages:

1.Economical in cost, with high overall performance for large-diameter products:

The cost of cast iron raw materials is low. The procurement cost of large-diameter valves (DN300 and above) is much lower than that of cast steel or stainless steel check valves. 

The advantages are particularly prominent in municipal batch projects.

2.Extremely low flow resistance, energy saving and consumption reduction

After the valve disc is fully opened, it closely resembles a straight-through pipeline. 

Compared with the lift type check valve, the pipeline pressure drop is significantly reduced, and the energy consumption of pumps is decreased in long-distance water transmission.

3.Strong slag removal capacity, less prone to valve blockage

The valve disc has a large swing opening degree. Mud, debris, and pipe weld slag can pass through smoothly. 

It is suitable for rainwater pumping stations and sewage treatment plants with impure water bodies.

4.Low maintenance and repair costs

The top valve cover can be removed for replacing the rubber sealing ring and pin shaft. The accessories are inexpensive, and maintenance does not require cutting the pipeline.

5.Strong installation compatibility

It can be installed on horizontal, inclined, or vertical pipes (medium enters from below and exits from above), and is suitable for complex pipe bridge layouts.

6.Cast iron shock absorption and noise reduction

The casting structure of the valve body can buffer water flow vibrations, and the rubber sealing type has less closing impact noise.
