Product Introduction:
The worm gear head flange butterfly valve consists of a flanged butterfly valve body and a worm gear reducer transmission device.
Relying on the worm gear mechanism to reduce torque, the manual handwheel operation rotates the butterfly plate from 0° to 90°, achieving pipeline medium cutoff and throttling regulation.
Compared to handle butterfly valves, the operating torque is significantly reduced, making it suitable for medium and large diameter valves.
It features a self-locking mechanism; the valve automatically locks after the handwheel stops rotating, preventing it from opening and closing automatically due to medium thrust.
Requiring no power or air supply, it is suitable for on-site manual operation, moderate opening and closing frequency, and no remote automatic control requirements.
It is a mainstream manual valve commonly used in water supply and drainage, HVAC, and environmental protection projects.
